Our Purpose
Driven by the desire for new challenges, team Cardiem was founded. Finn Zeumer and Finn Michaelis first participated in the name of “Cardiem” 2020 and a success story has developed from then on. After almost reaching the national finals in 2020, Cardiem already developed one of its core values: Ambition – we could identify a lot of potential for improvements and both team members wanted to continue participating in this competition. Christoph Goers and Jeremy Simon joined the team and the new team of four team members reached a goal many students dreamed of: Team Cardiem became Hamburg Champion! But now the team was challenged more than ever: Winning the German Championship was the next highest possible achievement and to do so Cardiem had to become unique and innovative. Making Uniqueness and Innovation two of the core Cardiem-values, the team became the German Champion! – an achievement we only dreamed of at first.
Now, Cardiem is taking on the globe to participate at the World Finals 2023 in Singapore – But this time it’s different; the best of the best compete against each other and Cardiem wants to confirm that our ambition, innovative ability, and uniqueness will lead us to the highest possible achievement: Becoming World Champion

About the Competition
Formula 1 in Schools is an international competition, in which more than 50 countries participate. Germany is one of them. The main goal is to construct a miniature racing car by using CAD software, which is then built with modern manufacturing methods like Multi Jet Fusion. A professional painting is also necessary. The racing time of the car is one of the most important parts – it determines 1/5 of the points. The race itself takes place on a 20-metre racing track. The cars are driven with a CO2 cartridge and gain speed up to 20 metres per second. Nearly half of the maximum points are made up by the production and the race of the cars. So, where can you get the rest of the points? Besides the car the team has several other tasks: One of them is to create two portfolios with eight pages each. The first one is called “Portfolio Technic”. Here, information about the car itself, the construction and the testing are written down. The second portfolio is the “Portfolio Enterprise”, which is about the team’s project management and the marketing concept. In addition, the partners and sponsors are noted. Furthermore, the team has to hold an eight-minute presentation on the competition day, in which they present the team roles, their logo and the design. At last, each team needs to build their own pit display to represent their sponsors on the competition day.
Logo Usage
The Cardiem logo is preferably displayed in the primary color black and green.
For applications on a dark background, the white inverted version of the logo can be used.
The protective area is the clear space that always surrounds the Cardiem logo. It ensures that our most iconic brand element is represented appropriately and never lost among other elements in its vicinity. Always ensure that the protective area is free from graphic elements and typography.
The height of the logo defines the protective area of an X around all sides of the logo.
